About Us

Fix the Sky Productions is a media production company based in the South of England with a passion for Photography, Film and Documentary.

We started Fix the Sky Productions in September 2009 as a means to produce our first documentary, 40 Days of Separation. The documentary was eventually released at the Winchester U-Doc Festival to a generally positive reaction, encouraging us to continue the company with a view to producing further works within the fields of photography, film and documentary.

Our company is based on a desire to produce a range of media products expressing a culmination of effective design and aesthetically-pleasing visuals, examples of which may be seen on our Portfolio page.

We offer a range of services, including photography and film production, for a variety of events and occasions. If you would like to discuss the services we have to offer, you can do so using the Contact page.

Sophie Jackson

I am a media practitioner based in Southern England. My main interests lie in Photography and Film, which I have been enthusiastic about for many years.

I feel most at home behind a camera, both photographic and cinematic. I am however also experienced behind the computer, specifically in the editing stages of production.

Chris Marley

My main interests lie in film and music. I’ve been writing music since the age of 13 and haven’t stopped since. My key focus when creating anything is to add atmosphere and a dynamic feel to it.

Over the past few years, film production has become a new method for me to be able to accomplish creative freedom, and compliments my creativity in music down to a t.

I’m particularly interested in creating a unique style within any sort of media and experimenting with the possibilities within post production. I like to perfect all details as I believe spending time on those little things can add to a piece significantly.

Matt Popay

I learnt pretty quick that to make it in this industry you have to be a jack of all trades and master of them too.
I dabble in all sectors of film production from the planning to the editing and everything in between.

I have a special interest in documentary and DSLR cinema and believe that it’s the future of film making.

I also actually really enjoy doing post production in films and using programs like After Effects and Final Cut are now a second nature to me.

Will Jackson

Since being given my first camera at an early age, I have been fascinated with photography and the moving image.

While I am competent at a variety of roles within the field of video production, my primary expertise lie in camera operation. I am proficient in a variety of different cameras, including MiniDV and HDSLR’s, and can be relied upon to ensure all captured footage is correctly exposed and effectively framed.

Examples of my photography can be seen on my Flickr page.
